What this guide covers

A meeting template built around decisions, not status theatre.

Sections

  1. Review the inputs. Which work is complete, late, blocked or waiting for approval?
  2. Choose exceptions. Discuss only items that need a decision or new information.
  3. Assign actions. Name an owner, next step and due date.
  4. Check the process. Identify one recurring issue worth investigating.
  5. Close the loop. Review the previous action list before starting another.

Worked example

Agenda: 5 minutes previous actions; 10 minutes exceptions; 10 minutes decisions; 5 minutes owners and next steps. This is an example timebox.
